Birkenhead Library Is currently closed but we have opened a new Outreach Centre at Birkenhead YMCA . Whetstone Lane,Birkenhead,Wirral CH41 2TJ
This centre is superbly equiped with modern PC's and has other IT facilities. There are over 500 learndirect Courses available with on site qualified tutor support. The are also excellent catering and leisure facilities.

Disabled facilities
The centre is situated on the second floor of the YMCA and can be accessed by wheelchair from the side entrance off Whetstone Lane. Software for visually impaired people is available.
General facilities
There is a free car park situated alongside the YMCA and on-street parking is also available adjacent to the building. Birkenhead Central Station is a ten minute walk away and there is a large shopping complex with many food outlets nearby. The centre also has excellent catering facilities at very reasonable prices. The YMCA is serviced by many bus routes.
